High-Performance Polyurea Grouting Sealant

The Ultimate Solution for Dynamic Crack Waterproofing & Structural Rehabilitation

Product Overview

Our One-Component, Moisture-Curing Polyurea Chemical Grout is a cutting-edge, high-performance sealing material engineered to solve the most challenging leakage problems in dynamic and complex environments. Unlike rigid epoxy grouts or shrinking acrylics, this flexible sealant reacts with ambient moisture to form a durable, elastic barrier that moves with structural shifts, ensuring permanent waterproofing where traditional materials fail. It is the preferred choice for critical infrastructure protection in water conservancy, underground engineering, tunneling, and geotechnical applications.

Why Choose Our Polyurea Grouting Sealant?

Conventional Materials Our Polyurea Grouting Sealant
Epoxy Grouts: Rigid, brittle, poor performance on wet substrates. Highly Flexible: 150%+ elongation accommodates dynamic movement without cracking.
Acrylic/Cementitious Grouts: Can shrink, leaving voids for re-leakage. Zero Shrinkage/Expansion: Cures dimensionally stable for complete void filling.
Limited Adhesion in Damp Conditions: Often require dry surfaces. Exceptional Wet Substrate Adhesion: Bonds powerfully to concrete and rock, even in active seepage.
Short Service Life under cyclic stress. Superior Durability: Resists chemicals, salts, and long-term water immersion.

Core Performance Advantages

  • Dynamic Crack Sealing: Specifically designed for cracks subject to vibration, thermal cycling, or settlement. The high elongation-at-break (>150%) guarantees the seal remains intact under continuous movement.

  • Deep Penetration & Complete Filling: Low viscosity (200-500 mPa·s) allows injection into fine hairline cracks and porous substrates, reaching the leak source for a total seal from within.

  • Rapid, Water-Activated Cure: Gel times from 3-15 minutes upon contact with water enable quick turnaround, reducing project downtime. Cures effectively in saturated conditions.

  • Structural Integrity & Bonding: High compressive strength (≥25 MPa) and superior adhesion to concrete (≥2.5 MPa) not only seal but also contribute to structural reinforcement.

Primary Application Areas

  • Civil & Underground Construction:

    • Waterproofing of basements, parking garages, elevator pits, and underground structures.

    • Sealing cracks, construction joints, cold joints, and expansion joints in concrete.

    • Repair of leaking tunnels, subway passages, and water treatment plants.

  • Water Conservancy & Hydropower:

    • Dam & Reservoir Grouting: Sealing leaks in concrete dams, spillways, and retaining walls.

    • Tunnel & Canal Waterproofing: Repair of water transmission tunnels, penstocks, and irrigation canals.

    • Marine & Port Structures: Protection against water infiltration in piers, seawalls, and locks.

  • Geotechnical & Mining Engineering:

    • Ground Stabilization & Water Cut-Off: For excavation support, trenchless technology, and landslide mitigation.

    • Drilling Fluid Loss Control: Sealing fissures during geotechnical drilling and wellbore stabilization.

    • Mine Shaft & Tunnel Sealing.

Professional Application Guide

1. Surface Preparation:
Ensure the substrate is structurally sound. Remove loose debris, dust, and contaminants. The surface can be damp or actively seeping.

2. Drilling & Port Installation:
Drill injection holes (typically 10-15mm diameter) at a 45° angle to intersect cracks at mid-depth. Space ports 15-30cm apart. Install and secure injection packers/ports.

3. Surface Sealing (Optional for surface cracks):
For non-through cracks, seal the surface with a quick-set paste to contain the grout.

4. Injection Process:
* Connect a dual-component injection pump or a manual pump to the port.
Inject at low pressure (0.1-0.5 MPa) initially, increasing gradually as needed up to high pressure (1-5 MPa for deep fissures).
* Inject sequentially from the lowest point upward. Stop when grout appears at the adjacent port or crack surface.

5. Finishing:
Once gel time is reached, remove ports. Seal drill holes with hydraulic cement or mortar. Clean equipment immediately with appropriate solvent.
